She started to learn piano at the age of 4 and entered Sichuan Conservatory of Music at the age of 14 to study as a professional pianist with Professor Xu Yi and Professor Fan Hong. She graduated from Piano performance Master degree from Concervatoire Royal de Mons, Belgium, where she studied with professor Hans Ryckelynck and professor Thomas Paule. Afterwards, she completed her Master Specialized Solist degree in Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, where she studied with Professor Valentina Igoshina.
She has garnered recognition in numerous prestigious competitions and received accolades for their exceptional performances. Those awards include the Outstanding Performance Award in the "Chopin Memorial Prize" at the Hong Kong International Open Competition, the Gold Medal of the Sichuan Piano Group in the Royal International Art Competition, the first prize of professional piano group in China Art Talent Competition, the first prize in the "Liszt Memorial Award" International Piano Open global online trials, the third prize of 4th edition of the France Music Competition and the first prize of the professional youth group in the preliminary competition of Tongyue Galaxy. Dedicated to both performance and education, Yixue Xie has enriched her musical journey through participation in masterclasses conducted by eminent figures in the music world. Notable among these are the masterclasses of Professor Einar Steen- Nokleberg from Hochschule fΓΌr Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, and Professor Leonel Morales from Conservatorio Superior de Castellon, Spain, Imuse Music Festival in Belhium.
